Guide | Our tips for a beautiful necklace stack

Layering necklaces has become very trendy in recent years and continues to captivate us today. In just a few moments, this way of wearing necklaces adds a cutting-edge fashion touch to any everyday or evening look.
Do you also appreciate this way of wearing necklaces and would like some advice on mastering the art of stacking?
The team shares a few tips to guide you.

What necklace lengths should you choose for a successful layered look?

Step 1: Choose a choker necklace, approximately 38-40 cm long.
Step 2: Choose a necklace with a "classic" length of around 45cm. This is the essential piece for layering as it can easily be paired with shorter and longer versions and is also a very comfortable length for everyday wear.
Step 3: Choose a longer necklace measuring approximately 50-60 cm or a long necklace measuring 70-80 cm.
(Caution: Measure your neck circumference carefully before selecting the different lengths. Example: If your neck circumference is 40 cm, start your accumulation with a length of 45 cm for step 1).
For a trendy layered look, we recommend mixing materials: simple or mesh chains, freshwater pearls, zirconium oxides, colored natural stone beads, etc.
Depending on your outfit and mood, you can go from a simpler layered look with two necklaces to a more elaborate layered look with three necklaces.
It is also worth considering the style you want to give your look. You can choose to focus on finer necklaces or add some dimension with bolder pieces featuring large links. The key is to find the right balance so that each piece of jewelry stands out and none of them get lost among the others.

Our ideas for layering trendy necklaces

Here are some examples of necklace designs created at the Workshop:
Romantic-style necklace stacking
For this rather romantic-style layering look, we have combined the following necklaces:
Close-fitting, the "Judith" necklacenecklace, adjustable from 38 to 42 cm
Just below, the "Amaury" necklace, adjustable to 38, 40, 42, and 45 cm
And lastly, the "Birdy" necklace adjustable to 40, 42, and 45 cm
Bohemian-style necklace stacking
This second proposal is based on a more bohemian style, mixing:
The “Hamin” necklace, here in green garnet stone, adjustable from 38 to 42 cm
The “Suzon” necklace Rectangular mesh chain with hammered medallion pendant, available in several lengths (shown here in 45cm)
Accumulation of gold and pearl necklaces
For this next suggestion, we have combined four gold and pearl necklaces:
The “Pearl” necklace in fine freshwater pearls at neck level
The “Esmée” pendant engraved with a small clover on a simple chain (40cm)
The “Dooce” necklace adorned with a freshwater pearl (45cm)
The “Harumi” necklace in its ball chain version (50 cm)
Accumulation of "Oderic," "Glenn," and "Gautier" necklaces
Our final suggestion for layering necklaces is as follows:
The "Glenn" necklace with its small teardrop pendant (38cm)
The "Gautier" necklace, the big brother of "Glenn" (45cm)
The "Oderic" pendant in aventurine stone, to slip onto your favorite gold chain (50cm)

Tip: to quickly and easily lengthen a necklace, consider our extensions. Available in lengths of 3, 5, and 7 cm, in gold-plated and silver-plated versions.
P.S.: To all those who love mixing and matching gold and silver, let your imagination run wild as you put together your dream collection, because this trend is making a big comeback!
